As always, if you don't see what you want here just call, e-mail, or stop by and we can usually special order what you're looking for. We will also be working on compiling a complete list of all the things we can order, but don't have room to keep in the store. We sell most everything in bulk, and if you want a REALLY big order just call a few days in advance so we can have it waiting for you worry free!
Domestic
Crystal Malt 10L, 20L, 40L, 60L, 80L, 120L - Adds color, helps with body, and improves head retention. 10L is very light golden in color and 120L is a dark brown.
Munich Malt- Malty-sweet flavor characteristic. Adds a slight orange color to the beer.
Vienna Malt 3.5L- Kiln dried malt darker than Pale Malt, but not as dark as Munich Malt
Imparts a golden to orange color to the beer.
Victory Malt 25L- A toasted malt good for light ales of any variety.
Dextrin/Cara-Pils® Malt 1.5L- Significantly increases foam, head retention, and the body of the beer.
Honey Malt 25L- Adds a sweet malty flavor that is comparable to honey. ATR’s favorite!
Malted Rye- Adds a dry crispness to your beer.
Special Roast 50L- Adds a light toasted flavor and aroma.
Black Patent Malt 500L- Very dark. Imparts a dry roasted flavor to your stout or porter. Great for coloring in small amounts too.
Black Barley 500L(un-malted)- Barley roasted at high temperatures to create a dry, coffee like flavor. Creates a drier beer than regular roasted barley.
Chocolate Malt 350L- Imparts a dark red to dark brown color and a nutty chocolaty aroma in the finished beer.
Dark Chiocolate Malt 450L- Dark in color with grainy, burnt flavors and aromas.
Roasted Barley(lite)300L- Same as black patent malt, but a touch lighter. Leaves a slight coffee-like aroma.
White Wheat- Gives a slight malty sweetness. Really rounds out beers using wheat extract.
Golden Wheat- Same as white wheat, but darker in color.
Torrified Wheat- Unmodified wheat that’s been "popped" to open the kernels.
2-Row(Great Western)- Base malt for all beers.
6-Row(Briess)- Base malt for all beers.

German
Pilsner Malt- German base for pilsners and lagers.
Vienna Malt- Darker than pale, but not as dark as munich.
Munich- Imparts a red to amber color and some slight maltiness.
Wheat Malt- Base malt for wheat beers.
Lite Crystal(Carahell®)- Intensifies color and aroma in darker beers
Dark Crystal(Carahell®2)- Darker than carahell 1.
Cara-Pils®- Significantly increases foam, head retention, and the body of the beer.
Melanoidin Malt- An aromatic full flavored malt that gives a deep red color and malty flavor.
Acidulated Malt- Contains natural lactic acids. Used to adjust malt PH without chemicals to adhere to German purity laws. Also enhances head retention.
British
Marris Otter- Base malt.
Carastan- An aromatic British version of crystal malt.
Chocolate Malt- Gives a dark red to dark brown color. Has a wonderful coffee-like flavor and aroma.
Crystal 50/60L- Adds color, helps with body, and improves head retention.
Brown Malt- Classic base in English brown ales. Provides complex layers of nutty and toasted flavors. Imparts a dry aromatic quality.
Peated Malt- Smoked malt. Usually used in Scottish ales. A little goes a long way.
Belgian
Pale Ale- Base malt.
Munich 10L- Slightly sweet, golden in color, and very aromatic.
Aromatic Malt 15L- Gives your beer a very strong malt flavor and aroma.
Caravienne Malt 24L- Light Belgian crystal malt. Used in light Trappist and Abbey style Belgian ales.
Cara-munich® 70L- Caramel, copper colored malt. Used in Belgian Abbey and Trappist ales.
Special B- Intense caramel aroma and flavor. Used in dark Belgian Abbey and Trappist ales. Unique flavor and aroma.
Coffee Special Roast 150L- Smells and tastes of freshly roasted coffee. Goes well with all the chocolate malts too.
